Happy Fall & Happy September everyone!! Meet our September #LOGOnista – Ellen! I had a great time interviewing her. Ellen is from Mississippi and a true lover of fashion and LOGO.
It’s such a beautiful time of the year. I’m ready to put on all my cozy sweaters and jackets and layer up, go out, and be in the beautiful fresh air! Hope you all enjoy! I love LOGO and I love all of you!

1) In a few short sentences, tell us little bit about yourself – Where do you live? Where are you from? etc.
I am from a little town named D’Iberville on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I grew up ten minutes from here in another small town called Ocean Springs. I have been married to a high school classmate for 33 years and have two grown sons. I work full time for a precast concrete company that has divisions in 5 states. I am a thyroid cancer survivor and avid classic movie fan. I am currently also working on completing the requirements for an Associate of Arts degree.

2) How and when did you first become excited about fashion… and LOGO specifically?
I have always been interested in clothes (and jewelry!). I got hooked on Lori as soon as I ordered one of her original v-neck shark bite tops (A-202259). I bought several colors and never looked back! My closet is nearly all LOGO!
3) What attracted you to LOGO in particular?
First and foremost, Lori herself was the main attraction. I loved her sense of style and personality well before I ordered from her. I love how her clothes flatter my particularly less than model-like figure. I am a plus size – 1X-2X in her tops and 3X in bottoms. I love how LOGO makes me look and feel.
4) Tell me some of your favorite things about Lori.
I love Lori’s commitment to make clothes that make all women feel and look good. I love her sense of humor and her sense of style. I love how even as a high fashion designer she seems so friendly and down to earth. I love that she has designed a line of clothing that makes us feel comfortable and look stylish all the same time.

5) What are some of your favorite pieces of LOGO and why?
I love her most recent animal print leggings in the lounge line. I bought 4 colors. There is an older animal floral top with shark bite hem that I bought in 4 colors as well. There is an older TSV lounge cardigan with flowing lapels that I also bought in four colors. They serve most of the time as my winter coat here in the deep south. Last but not least, the original v-neck top (A202259) that I bought in 9 or 10 colors – my favorite top from any designer of all time.
6) When did you first become involved with the page and chatting with Ladies during the shows?
I think I found the page by accident on Facebook. I started commenting on the outfits of the ladies almost immediately. I began to post pictures of myself after I finally screwed up the nerve to do it a few weeks after becoming a member of the group!
7) You have so much wonderful energy! What’s your favorite thing about the ladies and interacting with them?
The ladies in the group are so supportive of each other and so lovely. I love sharing ideas about putting pieces together. It is just a place of great positivity when much of the news today is so negative. It would be really fun to meet some of the ladies in person like a LOGO cruise or retreat.
8) Give us three “Fun Facts” about you!
I visited Egypt, Greece, Belgium and Paris in college nearly 40 years ago. I watch Jeopardy every night without fail. I have a head full of trivia about classic movies, classic movie actors and the Oscars.

9) In one sentence, tell us how you feel when you wear LOGO.
One sentence is hard! I feel comfortable, age appropriate, good about myself and incredibly blessed to have found a line of clothing that gives me so much joy.
10) If you were introducing a friend to LOGO for the first time, what are the three things you would tell them about the LOGO world?
I would tell a friend that LOGO is inclusive in sizing, there is something for everyone – prints, solids, cotton, rayon/span, no special care is needed – just throw in washer and dryer (though I hang my LOGO dry to extend the life of the fabrics) and LoOGO is a good value – you get way more than what you spend in just esteem building alone. (I know that’s 4 things but I couldn’t help myself!)

Great interview and really enjoy the pictures of Ellen in various LOGO outfits. You look beautiful!
